Ms. Hernandez is determined to provide affordable legal form preparation services for individuals representing themselves in court.

After working at private law firms, Ms. Hernandez recognized the vast need for affordable legal services. She is devoted to helping provide low-cost legal document preparation services to self-represented parties.

Ms. Hernandez personally assists every client with their divorce and family law matter.

Background:

Ms. Hernandez is a Colorado native and is admitted to practice law in Colorado and Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, majoring in Sociology, and attended law school at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Ms. Hernandez discovered her passion for family law at a young age as she watched her mother work as a family law paralegal during childhood and would visit her office often. As a young child, she frequently attended court with her parents and gifted the judicial officers her artwork she would draw in court. 

Experience:

During undergrad, she volunteered at the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in Colorado Springs in Juvenile Prosecution and Restitution. While in law school, she was a law clerk and legal extern for personal injury and family law firms.

Prior to being the Managing Attorney at DocuPrep, Ms. Hernandez practiced family law at a small law firm in Minneapolis.

Ms. Hernandez enjoys walks with her dogs, Poppy and Pebbles, painting, gardening, and reading about Japanese history and culture. She became a PADI certified scuba diver at age thirteen and is delighted by the ocean and marine life.
